Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“The CPR and First Aid cards for the caregivers that applied first aid to a child were expired back in April.”
“There were big dips underneath all the swings, showing that there was displacement of the surfacing material for the swings.”
“One child's file was missing proof of immunizations.”
“The operation had crib mattresses on the floor for infants to sleep on. The operation did not have cribs or play yards available for infants to sleep in.”
“Six children files were reviewed and all six were missing the name, address, and telephone number of the child's physician or emergency-care facility.”
“One child at the operation with a known food allergy does not have a food allergy emergency plan on file.”
“One caregiver was at the operation who did not have a current eligible background check. *This was corrected at inspection when he caregiver was sent home.”
