Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“One caregiver does not have five of the six required addtional required topics.”
“Checks for the fire extinguisher, carbon monoxide detector, and smoke detectors were not documented or conducted for the school year.”
“2 of 7 staff files I observed did not have orientation training. The director stated that the caregivers had received the training, it just wasnt signed. She had the caregivers sign and date that they received the orientation training prior to being in care.”
