Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“A slide on the infant playground did not have a 6ft use zone around it. Note: This was CORRECTED AT INSPECTION when the slide was removed from the playground.”
“One seat belt in the center van was not working properly.”
“One child lacked health statement.”
“The infant room was observed to be out of child/caregiver ratio. One caregiver was observed responsible for 6 infants, ages including: 5 months, 5 months, 6 months, 6 months, 10 months and 16 months. NOTE: This was corrected at inspection by an additional caregiver stepping into the infant room bringing the infant room back into child/caregiver ratio.”
