Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“The operational policies had not been updated in accordance with the new additions of the minimum standard requirements, There are missing components of the policies such as parents rights, detailed evacuation plan, water activities, discipline, the numbers for the abuse hot line and the licensing number and address.”
“The operation did not have all of the required postings: keeping children safe, notice to parents, liability insurance, permit,”
“The home had a smaller than required fire extinguisher mounted in the hall way.”
“The provider did not have the updated enrollment agreement to acknowledge permission for water activities on 3 of the children's records. The date of admission was missing on one of the forms along with the health statement on another record.”
“During the walk through inspection the bathroom accessible to children in care was observed to have Clorox wipes, clorox spray, and lysol cleaner located underneath the cabinet. This was corrected at inspection, a safety lock was placed on the cabinet making it inaccessible to children in care.”
