Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“The use zones for the slides on the playground were not the required 6 feet.”
“Of the children's records reviewed one child had no documentation of immunizations.”
“The fire extinguisher was not currently serviced.”
“There was no safety documentation for emergency drills, or inspecting fire extinguishers, smoke detectors or carbon monoxide detectors.”
“Animal feces was observed on the children's playground in their play area.”
“Observed the trampoline skirting that was dry rotted from the sun. There were missing skirting around the trampoline that could cause a child's leg to go through the trampoline.”
“The operation has a small trampoline that is less than 12 inches from the ground. This trampoline was located on the back wooden porch.”
“The fire extinguisher had not been serrviced since 2020.”
