Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“The toddler room nap mats were not labled with the child's name.”
“There were two infant feeding instructions that have not been updated. The Director is going to correct this by getting the feeding instructions updated.”
“There was not the required amount of mulch in area around the play structure. The Director is going to correct this by getting the mulch installed and up supervision until the mulch is installed.”
“One caregiver stated there were 18 children, however 17 children were present.”
“One classroom was watching a movie during naptime. NOTE: This was corrected at inspection when the caregiver turned off the Television.”
“The caregivers were only using one bottle of sanitizing solution to clean instead of using the four step process. The Director is going to correct this by getting the soap and water bottles, and the sanitation bottles to clean properly. The Director is also going to train all the staff on the proper cleaning and sanitation process.”
“The fire inspection expired on 4-12-2021. The Director is going to correct this by getting the fire inspection done.”
“A 3 year old child was put in the infant room for time out with children that were 18 months younger than him.”
“A three year old child was confined in the infant room in an infant bucket seat at the infant table for 10-15 minutes.”
“There were two trash cans in two different rooms that had garbage that was accessible to children. The person in charge is going to correct this by getting trash cans with lids.”
