Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“One out of four children files reviewed did not have a health statement available to review.”
“The first aid kit did not have a thermometer.”
“Primary caregiver's CPR/First aid expired October 2021.”
“An infant was swaddled in a crib while sleeping. Note: This was corrected when the caregiver unswaddled the infant.”
“Primary caregiver's CPR/First aid expired October 2021.”
“3 out of 11 children did not have a physician health statement on file.”
“Two out two mats that children were observed napping on were not labeled. This was corrected at the time of the inspection when the director labeled the mats.”
