Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“The first aid kit did not have the required guide to first aid.”
“The operation has a slide structure that does not have the required use zones. The director stated the caregivers will keep the children off this equipment until use zones are compliant.”
“One caregiver did not have current training in pediatric CPR.”
“Two regular visitors were present at the home without having an eligible background check. The visitors left the home during the inspection.”

“Cleaning supplies were observed in a low cabinet in the child care area that was accessible to children. The caregiver stated child locks will be applied to the cabinet doors to make the supplies inaccessible.”
