Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“While reviewing video footage for an investigation, it was found that one caregiver was briefly over ratio by two children. This was corrected a few minutes later when another caregiver entered the room.”
“It was observed on camera that a caregiver did not allow an infant to form his/her own pattern of sleep by continuing to lay the infants head down after the infant has woken. This was corrected, as the caregiver is no longer employed at the operation.”
“During an investigation it was found that infant feeding instructions could not be located for the previous month. I spoke with the director about keeping the previous infant feeding instructions.”
“A caregiver gave a child a food item that was identified on the childs food allergy form. I spoke with the operation staff about trainings for allergies and other tools that can be used to prevent a reoccurance of this incident.”
“The center's operational policy does not state the hours the center operates.”
“The employee listed posted did not list all current employees. This was corrected at inspection when the director updated and posted a current employee list.”
“The center's operational policy did not state if vaccines against preventable diseases are required by employees.”
“The center's operational policy did not state the criteria for determining extreme weather.”
