Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“Out of two caregiver files reviewd, one caregiver was missing a notarized affidavit.”
“Out of 4 children files reviewed, 2 children were missing immunization records and 1 child was missing proof of 1 of 4 Dtap.”
“Emergency drills were not being conducted. The last fire drill was in 3/2024, last sheltering/severe weather drill was 2/8/24, and monthly alarm checks were 6/6/2024. This was corrected during the inspection when a fire drill, lockdown drill, and alarm checks were conducted.”
“Out of 4 children files reviewed, 2 children were missing health statements.”
“One infant was observed to be sleeping with a blanket. This was corrected at inspection when the blanket was removed.”
“The operation was missing several required operational policies including illness criteria, medication procedures, discipline/guidance, animals, promotion of active play, and how to contact Child Care Regulation.”
“The caregiver had two unrelated children in care without a permit.”
