Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“A caregiver handled a child in care roughly while laying them down for a nap causing an injury.”
“A caregiver left a child alone in a closet for two minutes and thirty-six seconds.”
“The operation failed to submit a background check to CBCU for a caregiver present with children at the time of inspection.”
“A child in care was left on the outdoor playground alone.”
“Ten caregiver files were evaluated. Four caregivers did not have emergency preparedness training on file.”
“Two of seven infant written feeding forms evaluated were not reviewed by parents in the last thirty days.”
“Ten caregiver files were evaluated. Two cargives did not have mandated reporting training on file.”
“Caregiver labeled a bottle with another child's name resulting in infant consuming another infant's bottle.”
“Operation had eight children ages three to five years old with one caregiver during slashing/wading activity. Operation came into compliance when second caregiver was added to ratio and children were transitioned to splash pad.”
“A staff member failed to properly account for children they were responsible for supervising in their group. One child was not document on the program electronic device and paper transition sheet. As a result, when children transitioned from classroom one school age child was left unsupervised for 92 seconds.”
“Child on field trip did not have an identification item listing the name of the child- care center and the child-care center's telephone number”
