Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“During the walkthrough, the Room 1 teacher stated she has 10 children, 2 of whom are in the bathroom with a parent. One of the children is not related to the family. The parent just brought the child to the bathroom.”
“During the walkthrough, several classrooms have their electric fans and electrical outlets accessible to the children. I asked the teachers to remove the fans or cover the outlets immediately.”
“The operation failed to address classroom hazards and risks, leading to a fire extinguisher falling on the infant.”
“The operation placed fire extinguishers on top of the refrigerator, causing one to fall onto the infant.”
“Six out of ten caregiver records did not have complete annual health and safety trainings available for review at time of inspection.”
“One allergy plan was not signed by the parent.”
“The operation failed to feed an infant who was care for 3 hours and 51 minutes.”
“The operation failed to report to Child Care Regulation nine positive COVID cases within the required 48 hours.”
“The program does not have a current Gas Pipe Leak inspection.”
