Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“Two children (1 infant) sitting in high chair with no straps.”
“All staff were missing both affidavits (2912 and 2985).”
“Primary caregiver did not have SIDS/Safe sleep training available for review during visit.”
“Assitant caregiver did not have SIDS/safe sleep training available for review during the visit.”
“Three out of eight children did not have updated immunizations available for review during the visit.”
“Infant (8M) did not have infant feeding schedule available for review during the visit.”
“A staff did not have a CPR/First aid card available for review.”
“One household member did not have an orientation available for review during the visit.”
“Three out of three files were reviewed and had several things missing and no files for 1 household member. Primary caregiver had no training available for review.”
“The promotion of indoor and outdoor activity was not available to include other items in the policy list in 747.501. They were not available for review during the visit.”
“Three out of four files reviewed did not have health statments available for review.”
“Three out of four files did not have updated immunization record or no record at all available for review during the visit.”
“The gate door that is used as an exit had lawn equipment and a water hose blocking the entrance/exit area. This can pose a risk to the safety of the children such as tripping hazards, and the children would not be able to evaluate safely during an emergency. The deficiency was corrected during the inspection when the provider removed the lawn equipment and water hose inaccessible to children.”
