Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“The fire alarm system is not working properly. It constantly beeps. The panel states trouble in the system.”
“One child did not have the required immunization record.”
“A caregiver inappropriately picked an infant child up by one arm to move from the buggy to the classroom.”
“Operational Policies were not implemented to reduce the safety risk of all children in the toddler class.”
“The assistant did not have access to staff trainings.”
“Three new hires orientation trainings were unavailable during the inspection.”
“Caregivers can respond promptly in emergency situations when they have the proper equipment and necessary telephone numbers in the vehicle.”
“Two children in care did not have the required Health Statement.”
“Caregivers trainings were unavalable for review during the inspection.”
“A cargiver used inappropriate discipline by yelling at a chilld in care in the PK3 Classroom.”
“This standard was evaluated as part of an investigation and found to be deficient. A child was left unsupervised in a classroom for approximately five minutes.”
“This standard was evaluated as part of an investigation and found to be deficient. An Incident Report was not completed by the operation.”
