Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“During the inspection, food was observed left out on the counter. This was corrected at the inspection when the caregiver threw away the food that was left out.”
“During the inspection, a step stool that the children had access to in the restroom was observed covered in dirt. Standing water was observed on the playground area. These were corrected at the inspection when the caregiver wiped down the stool and dumped the standing water.”
