Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“At the time of inspection, the loose fill around the play structures and on the overall general playgournds does not meet standard height requirements.”
“Information obtained as part of the investigation supports a deficiency in this standard.”
“The operation did not have adequate loose fill on two play areas used by children.”
“An eletrical outlet was observed without a covering”
“The operation did not have documented monthly fire drills”
“The operation did not have an food allergy emergency plan for each chlid with a know food allergy”
“Observed the van that transports children didn't have a first aid kit The director place the first aid kit on the van during the inspection.”
“Observed the van used to transport children didn't have a fire extinguisher. The director place the Fire extinguisher on the van during the inspection”
“Outdoor play structure on the school-aged playground does not have the required 9 inches of loose fill surfacing.”
“Caregiver did not use good judgement and self control while caring for children.”
“It was found during the investigation that a caregiver does use the prohibited punishment yelling while children are in care.”
“Operation did not have files available as apart of the investigation.”
“There was a caregiver present that did not have a current background check.”
