Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“One child's food allergy plan was not signed by the parent.”
“The operation only served one component out of the two required components for snack from the USDA Meal and Snack Patterns.”
“This standard was reviewed as part of an investigation and found non-compliant. It was discovered that child was released to non-authorized person and was returned to the operation after it was discovered by another family member.”
“This standard was reviewed as part of an investigation and found deficient. The operation did not notify all parents of children enrolled in writing when a staff member tested positive for COVID. This was corrected at inspection as the operation posted a note on the door to notify all parents of children enrolled.”
“This standard was reviewed as part of an investigation and found deficient. The operation did not self-report to Child Care Regulation when a staff member tested positive for COVID.”
“This standard was reviewed on 12/23/2021 as a follow-up to a previous inspection and found deficient. The loose fill is not being maintained at 6 inches in the entire perimeter of the use zone area of the equipment on the playground.”
“The loose fill is not being maintained at the proper depth of 6 inches around the equipment with the two slides closest to the front of th eoperation that is on the large playground.”
“The loose fill on the two playgrounds is not being maintained at the proper depth of 6 inches.”
