Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“It was found that caregivers were using their cell phones during nap time and outdoor play resulting in a lack of supervision.”
“There was enough evidence to support that a caregiver who was not qualified to be left unsupervised by another caregiver was left alone with children.”
“Upon entering the classroom there were twelve 12mo-23mo olds with one caregiver. The specified age for that group was 2 years olds. Therefore the ratio is 1 caregiver to 11 children. This was corrected at the time of inspection within 2 minutes when another caregiver entered the room.”
“There was a tear in the diaper changing mat in the 2 year old room. The caregiver replaced this at the time of the inspeciton by replacing the mat.”
“When observing the menu the operation was serving the meal for Wednesday on Monday. The person in charge fixed the menu and put the correct substitutions and initialed the change.”
