Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“A caregiver slept during naptime when they were supposed to be actively supervisng children.”
“A caregiver was using their personal device not actively supervisng children in care.”
“Staff did not show competency and good judgement when they failed to perform the name to face check and did not account for all children in care before transitioning to another classroom.”
“A child was left unsupervised in a classroom.”
“Nap cots were not labeled.”
“The operation did not have menus on file for review and uses a catering company for meals.”
“One caregiver did not have the required 24 hours of annual training.”
“One caregiver was present without an active background check.”
“There were two caregivers present without background checks at the operation.”
“2 staff in 2 rooms did not know the number of children they had in care.”
“4 out of 4 staff did not have the abuse and neglect required annual training available for review.”
“The CPSC form was last updated on 8/26/20. It was updated during the visit.”
“4 out of 4 staff did not have the emergency prepardness section annual training available for review.”
“The operation did not report an unsafe facility occurrence which occured in February 2021.”
