Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · California Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing DivisionNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“Based on record review and interviews, LPA determined that licensee's sister, who had not obtained a criminal record clearance, had been present and assisting at the facility in the Fall of 2022. This posed an immediate health, safety, or personal rights risk to persons in care.”
“Stairs leading to the front porch were not completely barricaded (top and bottom). Licensee had the top of the stairs barricaded, however, there was no barricade at the bottom of the stairs. The stairs are accessible to children when they are in the front yard playing. This poses a potential threat to the health and safety of children in care.”
“licensee failed to notify the Department before using an off limit room for a day care child. This poses a potential risk to the health and safety of children in care.”
