Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“A child was left unsupervised after using the restroom and the rest of the class went outside.”
“This standard was found deficient. A child was found unsupervised outside the classroom by the parent during pick up.”
“This standard was found deficient. The caregiver admitted she did names to face before they went to playground. But did not conduct when they were inside the classroom as she was stopped by the parent who asked her about her child.”
“Three allergy forms were not signed by the parents. The form has to have a physician and a parent signature.”
“A three year old was left on the playground for three minutes when their class went back into the building. The child was on the playground with another class and was found by a teacher.”
“A three and a half year old was left in the hallway for twenty two minutes. The classroom transitioned upstairs and the child stayed by the entrance to the stairwell. The child was found by their teacher.”
“A two year old child was left unattended in the hallway for a brief moment. The class was exiting to the playground and he was left alone and was found by another teacher.”
