Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“A caregiver used their hand to restrain a child to take a nap.”
“Four infants did not have updated feeding sheets avaliable for review and and two were able to be completed during inspection.”
“Two infants were observed not having their hands washed after diaper changing and caregivers had to be redirected to wash the infants hands.”
“A teacher left a child in the classroom seated at a table before walking out of the class with the other children and closing the door on the child.”
“A child was left unattended in the classroom while the class transitioned to the playground.”
“A child was left unsupervised in a classroom for approximately 20 minutes.”
“The operation has not completed a Fire Drill since 7/15/24.”
“The last Fire Inspection the operation had documentation of was completed on 7/1/2022.”
“The operation did not have the appropriate depth of loose fill.”
“The operation has not had a fire inspection since July of 2022.”
