Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“Two of the records evaluated did not have parent signatures in spaces were required and was missing required information.”
“The primary caregiver did not have annual training in preventing and responding to emergencies due to food allergies.”
“Children under two were watching a movie. This was corrected during the inspection when the television was turned off.”
“The children's sleeping mats were not labeled with each child's name. This was corrected during the inspection when the primary caregiver labeled the mats.”
“During the walk through of the home, a child was observed sleeping in a restrictive device. The child was removed from the device and placed in a play yard that meets standard requirements.”
“The operation admitted this drill is not completed monthly. This was corrected at inspection when a fire drill was completed within the required time frames.”
“Primary caregiver was found to have 4 training hours completed of the required 30, missing 26.”
“Fire extinguisher was found to not be mounted.”
“The operation last completed the Children's Product Certification form on 2020. This was corrected at inspection when the operation reviewed the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission site and completed and posted the required form.”
