Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“During inspection, a board from the playground fenced was observed to be missing which could allow a child to escape the premises.”
“During inspection 30+ hours of training was reviewed. Three required trainings were not available.”
“During inspection menus were not available.”
“During inspection four children's records were reviewed and following info was not available: Child #1, #2, and #4 need an address for their emergency contact All 4 need a parent signature that they received their parent handbook All 4 need a Health Statement from their Physician”
“The playground area needs to be cleared of underbrush, leaves, and weeds to ensure snakes or vermin do not make a home.”
“A policy about physical activity is missing from the handbook.”
“The metal fence on the right side of playground is not 4 feet high when standing next to it from your property.”
