Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“One of the outlets in the pre-k room was uncovered. This was corrected during the inspection when an outlet cover was placed in the outlet.”
“There was a person observed in a classroom accessible to children and the person did not have a background check on file. The person was instructed by the operation to leave, during the inspection.”
“It was determined a caregiver did not utilize good judgment when she placed marbles in a center the children had access to, which caused an incident where a child in care was able to swallow a marble. The marbles have been removed from the operation.”
